Our work depends on a Business Process Analyst joining our PMO team in support of the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of the Chief Financial Officer’s (OCFO) Consolidated Business Systems (e.g., financials, procurement, and budget formulation and execution).
IN THIS ROLE, A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
• Conducting analysis of project requirements, objectives, and constraints to assist Project Managers with developing appropriate project artifacts.
• Performing complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program.
• Defining PMO requirements and implementing optimal processes to deliver on the requirements.
• Working with a PMO team of 3-5 PMO team members focused on recurring program and project tasks and activities.
• Working with 4-6 task orders leads and Program Manager to capture program performance metrics, executing monthly quality audits, constructing contract deliverables, producing program financials, approving/reviewing project
schedules for tracking during execution, identifying and documenting process improvements, ensuring the program adheres to CMMI program processes, and managing subcontractor burn rates.
• Monitoring and reporting program performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
• Reporting on program quality/performance.
• Support auditing and processing improvement activities.
• Conducting analysis of project requirements, objectives, and constraints to
assist project managers in developing appropriate project status tracking
artifacts (e.g., presentations, schedules, risk, issues, and action items)
• Support program performance monitoring.
• Other PMO responsibilities as defined by the PMO lead.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• BA/BS (Business Management or Administration, or other related disciplines).
• 8+ years ERP implementation, PMO, and/or quality management.
• 5+ years of experience preparing documentation for delivery or presentation.
• 3+ years of experience developing/conducting auditing processes to assess quality/compliance of program processes.
• 3+ years of experience working with and/or reporting on service-level agreements or performance standards.
• Ability to work independently under limited to no supervision.
• Relevant PMO certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CSM, SAFe, Six Sigma.
• If no PMP, a commitment to obtaining a PMP within the first 12 months of employment.
• Effective organizational skills and the ability mentor team members.
• Effective communication (e.g., written and presentation) skills.
• Experience developing project plan (MS Project), process flows and narratives (Visio), tracking spreadsheet (Excel), and SharePoint with a desire to expand knowledge and understanding.
• Desire to take on new tasks as program requirements evolve.
Proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and other related software applications (e.g., process flow,
collaboration tools, etc.), as well as the ability to expand current skills.
• Familiarity with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA).
• An ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving to unstructured task.

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
