SRI’s Information & Computing Sciences Division is taking on some of the world’s most important challenges, creating leading-edge technology solutions that have revolutionary impact. Our researchers are redefining the way human beings interact with machines and with one another through machines, as we define what’s next in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computing for the real world.
The Center for Vision Technologies (CVT) develops and applies its algorithms and hardware to be able to see better with computational sensing, understand the scene using 2D/3D reasoning, understand and interact with humans using interactive intelligent systems, support teamwork through collaborative autonomy, mine big data with multi-modal data analytics and continuously learn through machine learning.
The Vision Systems Lab in CVT is looking for a creative and energetic Sr/Principal Hardware Architect with experience in digital and analog hardware circuit design and practical background in electrical engineering capabilities and machine learning. A successful candidate needs to demonstrate the ability of conducting state-of-the-art research, preferably in the areas of computer vision, hardware co-design, efficient edge computing, and system architecture design. The goal of the research is to develop processing architectures for imaging, vision, RF, and other sensing domains. The right candidate will possess a strong technical background in machine learning algorithms, algorithm hardware mapping, hardware architectures and leverage skills for working across different programs and teams.
