HR Administrator - Located in Long Beach, CA (remote but will require monthly stops at the the office).
We are looking for an HR Administrator with excellent administrative and communication skills. Will manage full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced, challenging, and competitive environment for specific hourly positions to bring the best talent to those roles by posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and facilitating all onboarding requirements. The Admin will efficiently and effectively handle multiple spreadsheets, communication tools, and HR systems to assist candidates through the onboarding process and update the team daily on progress. Will also perform administrative tasks and services to support the HR department.

Essential Job Description:
- Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing needs across specific hourly positions.
- Work with managers and candidates through the interview process, moving quickly to create a seamless candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Efficiently manage onboarding process for multiple candidates at a time for quick time to hire results and clearly communicate status and progress for open positions with managers and HR team.
- Administer and oversee a complex, detailed and multi-agency background process for candidates.
- Actively coordinate the onboarding process for new hires and suggest improvements to the process.
- Manage and communicate recruiting metrics. Constantly updating multiple spreadsheets for onboarding and recruiting data.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
- Maintains employee confidence as well as preserves the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- May assist with payroll, benefit, recruitment and HR-related training functions.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, employee service awards, office events etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Understands that confidentiality is vital at all times.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
- Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR management team.
- Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information.
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently.
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience strongly preferred though we are willing to train.
- Ideally West Coast time zone
Pay: $21 - 23 per hr
