Job Description: Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team In Torrance California. As an Aircraft Painter, you will operate spray painting equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with FAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
Operate spray painting equipment to apply paint, enamel, and other coatings.
Mix and thin paints to achieve desired color and consistency.
Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections.
Maintain painting equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Document work performed and materials used in accordance with company and FAA requirements.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
4-6 years of experience in industrial painting, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Completion of an apprenticeship and/or formal training in industrial painting is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to painting and handling hazardous materials.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work on 1st shift
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Exposure to paint fumes and other hazardous materials; proper safety equipment will be provided.

Pay Details: $29.00 per hour
