Lennar, one of the largest home builders in the US, is seeking an experienced Senior User Experience (UX) Researcher to join its DigitalOps Product team. In this role, you will help us research and translate the process of Home Building - from land purchase through sale - in a way that will enable our industry leading software development team to create world class tools. You will also play a crucial part in shaping the user experience of these innovative digital construction products.
Your Responsibilities on the Team
- Conduct in-depth user research to deeply understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of Lennar's diverse user base, including homebuyers, purchasing teams, marketing teams, and construction professionals.
- Design and execute a wide range of research methodologies, such as user interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiries, and ethnographic studies, to gather rich insights.
- Analyze research data, identify patterns and trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations to inform product strategy, design, and development.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to ensure user-centric decision-making and the delivery of exceptional user experiences.
- Establish and maintain a user research practice within the organization, including developing research processes, tools, and best practices.
- Communicate research insights effectively through compelling presentations, workshops, and written reports to stakeholders at all levels.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX research methodologies, trends, and industry best practices, and continuously improve the research practice.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in user experience research, with a strong track record of delivering impacting research insights.
- Proficiency in a wide range of user research methods, including qualitative and quantitative techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Familiarity with construction, real estate, or home-related industries is a plus.
- Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
