Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Analyst
As a Continual Process Improvement (CPI) Analyst you will map mission-critical procedures, ideas, and principles throughout the organization to enhance overall performance. Here, your work will produce the most efficient systems possible, implementing continuous process improvement techniques that streamline, optimize, and minimize waste, variation, and defects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Our work depends on a CPI Analyst joining our team to analyze, plan, and simplify cross-functional business processes, consult with customers, and secure support for project implementation and change management from key stakeholders and vital process owners.
HOW A CPI WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Examine the organization's business processes and offer solutions that create efficiencies and lead to measurable, long-lasting adjustments and quantifiable business results
Work closely with the Knowledge Management team to perform business process consulting to the client’s mission and support elements
Analyze and identify key processes for successful operations within the organization and key systems used
Understand key success factors of customer business support processes, and integrate them with respect to unit requirements, operational requirements, products, services and processes
Design and recommend as part of a team, new or revised internal business processes, using existing solutions/systems or consulting on technology tools needed to operate the change
Partner with subject matter experts to identify and define business process improvements and provide methods to achieve improvements
Provide an analysis of the documented actions using commercial best practices in the areas of software, hardware, and lean process improvements
Provide potential Courses of Action (COAs) for enhancements to the baseline that has been established by the client
Provide technical solution support for the implementation of approved COA’s
Document COAs including flowcharts, data models, organization requirements tables, and risk assessment methodologies
Employ lean practices including the development of process maps and documentation of recommended lean practices as a result of analysis and sustainment recommendations
Regularly monitor the implementation of solutions to achieve objectives and expected benefits
?WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, industrial engineering, information technology, or a related field
Required Experience: 5 + years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office Suite; proficiency with process modeling tools such as Visio or ARIS; proficiency with collaboration tools such as MS SharePoint, One Note, JIRA
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance required
Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to work across functional areas to drive continuous improvement; excellent written and verbal skills; experience with Department of Defense or other National Security organizations; demonstrated ability to work in high paced and changing environments; problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Preferred Skills: Certified Six Sigma Green Belt; Continuous Improvement Manager certification
Location: On Customer Site in Newington, VA

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $97,750.00 - $132,250.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
