Position Summary: The Marketing Managerial Supervisor supports the Marketing and Public Relations department in the execution of social media, digital marketing, website, e-commerce, in-park signage, brand creative, as well as other marketing communications, promotional programs and external communication efforts at Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor Maryland.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead development of content (write, produce, shoot, edit) for social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
Assist with writing, editing, and executing various corporate documents including copywriting, email communications, creative writing and reports.
Manage social media platforms, content and strategy.
Oversee and audit park website, mobile app and other digital touchpoints.
Identify, plan, execute and manage files for/from b-roll shoots, including hosting discussions with other departments, talent wrangling, identifying assets needed, file editing and corporate file sharing.
Execution and management of daily production and post-production tasks, editing and web deliverability to meet required deadlines.
Oversee park-level Digital Content Partner program focusing on driving engagement via influencers, bloggers and vlogger content.
Oversee consumer email editorial calendar, proofing and distribution.
Take lead on in-park signage initiatives, focusing on event promotion, advertising, and other park initatives.
Assist with radio & print trade programs.
Assist with community relations initiatives, including oversight of ticket donation program.
Assist in the management of marketing expenses, including invoices and budgets.
Identify, develop, promote and execute attendance driving events to maximize guest visitation and increase GSS. Use communication channels to maximize outreach of event efforts.
Assist with and execute all park-wide photo, b-roll shoots and events, including media/press and pass holder events
Provide assistance and support as needed with all Marketing Division initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the Marketing Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required
Expert-level skills in graphic design, photography, video production, and social media.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator and Premiere is required; additional Adobe CC programs is preferred.
Computer literacy. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications. Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Theme park experience a plus, but not required. Must be willing to interact with guests.
Ability to learn proprietary software programs for web editing.
Experience in working across all Social Media platforms.
Commitment to providing guest first service to internal and external guests.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong leadership and motivational skills. Extremely strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have the ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, climb a ladder and safely work from heights frequently throughout full shift and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds safely. Ability to work in environments that are loud, dark, bright, elevated and extreme heat and cold conditions required.
