In this comprehensive role, the Oncology RN Educator will have the opportunity to enhance their leadership acumen, while acting as a mentor for all newly hired nursing employees. The Nurse Educator will provide hands-on training for the RN staff and residents with simulations, labs, and patient care and ensure all competencies are met before the residents are released from orientation. This Educator will provide evaluations, feedback, and support throughout the orientation process while working closely with the trainees and the Nurse Manager. The Oncology Nurse Educator will have the opportunity to participate in unit councils, give feedback, and ensure that best practices are followed.
