Job Summary:
The CI Specialist will be a champion of the Hood Continuous Improvement methodology for the Winchester Plant. Provide the site with a high level of support to ensure that daily production activities are directed at business objectives, problems are resolved, communication is maintained and operations are efficient. Provide hands-on process improvement for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor for problems, taking immediate action where possible and escalating when required.
- Insure periodic production status reporting.
- Perform, organize, and streamline operational tasks to maintain production priorities and reduce the potential for errors.
- Exhibit working knowledge of equipment, testing programs, and audit programs in order to provide technical assistance to direct reports.
- Provides employee training, development, coaching, and corrective action.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 7 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education experience.
- 3 years of supervision experience.
