Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Compliance Coordinator. The selected candidate for this position will be expected to report onsite to our Manhattan office.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage the administrative process specifically related to the testing and violations process
- Assist the Violations General Manager in all aspects of the violations process
- Work closely with the service supervisors and mechanics to achieve goals
- Ensure timely clearing of violations, managing of paperwork associated with the filing process and understand the Department of Buildings process
- Assist with tracking of purchase orders
- Assist with proposal of deficiency clearing outside contract parameters
- Research and present on building specific violation history
Education / Certifications
- High School degree or equivalent required
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
- Goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $100,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
