Dotdash Meredith is seeking a Supervising Producer, Lifestyle to join its Lifestyle Video team. As Supervising Producer, Lifestyle you’ll be responsible for planning, tracking, and collaborating across teams to deliver on video goals across the Dotdash Meredith suite of Lifestyle properties, from Better Homes & Gardens to InStyle. You will be a master multitasker and communicator, as well as an experienced production manager who can gather information from many sources to build an efficient production plan around KPIs (output, budget, views, engagement). The ideal Supervising Producer, Lifestyle has a deep understanding of what goes into short-form video production, can collaborate across teams to develop a shared creative vision, analyze information to find opportunities, and is adept at prioritization of work. Proven experience producing video for digital publishers; bonus points for experience in video SEO or social video strategy.
Contributions:
Gather data, conduct research and analyze the competitive landscape to find video opportunities that deliver on goals
Act as a representative of the video team internally, fostering collaboration. Establish relationships with stakeholders across video, digital, editorial, social, SEO and marketing teams to build and deliver a video strategy that aligns with the goals of each of our brands.
As the glue connecting multiple teams, you will manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, share wins and provide proactive solutions. You’ll also champion the value of video with internal stakeholders.
Oversee and manage concurrent productions across multiple brands, ensuring that scope, cost, schedule and quality benchmarks are met
Improve operational efficiency. Liaise with stakeholders to formulate objectives and understand requirements. Estimate costs and prepare budgets. Organize workflow to meet specifications.
Manage and mentor producers and work with production partners (video editors, social media managers, etc) to ensure that projects are properly prioritized, quality is managed, and deadlines are met.
Lead meetings with stakeholders. Prepare and present to video and editorial teams. Communicate operational and project updates.
Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of producing short-form video and experience owning video projects from concept through delivery
7+ years experience producing, coordinating or developing strategy for a digital publisher in the lifestyle space
Strategic and entrepreneurial thinker who sees opportunities to optimize and maximize what we make and how we make it
Stellar written and verbal communicator. At ease running meetings and brainstorming sessions; confident presenting to a group.
Team player who seeks opportunities to collaborate to elevate the work we do
Comfortable in spreadsheets and adept at understanding data. Proficient in Google Sheets and Airtable.
Flawless organizational skills; exceptional attention to detail. You foresee complications, make quick decisions, and troubleshoot on the fly.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven production environment

Pay Range
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
