Adecco is assisting one of the leading healthcare providers in the Bay Area in recruiting for a Patient Registration Outreach Representative in Newark, CA at one of their offices. This is a full-time opportunity with the hours being 8:30am 5pm, Monday through Friday
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verifies insurance verifications and benefit determination.
Update patient account with correct payer plan type
Understands coordination of benefits (COB)
Accurately create estimates for upcoming patient services.
Interprets and documents the appropriate co-pay, deductible, share of cost, co-insurance, maximum benefit levels and/or available days.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or equivalent required
Preferred experience with Workqueue and/or EPIC
Two (2) years working knowledge of patient registration and insurance verification and authorization processes in a medical organization.
Pay range for this opportunity is $27 - $29 based on experience.
