As 3PL Manager, you will develop, manage, and lead 3PL services for all finished goods located at 3rd party warehouse/fulfillment sites in North America for our various Watkins Wellness brands, including Sauna360 and Endless Pools. You will primarily be responsible for leading distribution network optimization analysis efforts and project-managing and completing key initiatives. We are looking for a strategic problem solver who possesses a consistent record of identifying and implementing cost savings programs and achieving outstanding supplier performance and customer service.
YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT
- Do you enjoy agile, fast-paced work? You will lead inbound management activities such as serial number data management, in-transit reporting, and supplier communications and will also lead inventory management activities, including transactional flows, asset management, inventory audits, and the ongoing development and monitoring of inventory reporting.
- Are you data-driven? We’ll rely on you to identify and implement metrics and KPIs to effectively measure performance. Based on your findings, you’ll ensure corrective actions that hold suppliers accountable and drive improvement are identified and put in place.
- Can you see around the corner? You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential providers, processes, and technologies that will expand and optimize our enterprise distribution capabilities, giving us a competitive advantage. Additionally, you will evaluate and forecast capacity for current and future distribution warehouse space needs.
- Are you a strong communicator? You’ll draft and implement Service Agreements and Statements of Work that clearly define expectations and requirements. Further, you will negotiate cost structures for various 3PL services and will coordinate RFP’s. Advanced negotiation skills and a strong ability to motivate others to action is necessary in this role.
- Are you a skilled project manager? You’ll use your exceptional project management, problem solving, continuous improvement, collaboration, and analytical skills to balance competing priorities and lead cross-functional projects, working closely with all functional areas within the Supply Chain group.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree required with an emphasis in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of related Supply Chain experience, such as Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing or Operations. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 3+ years’ experience managing distribution facilities (owned and 3PL) and implementing start-up operations and multidimensional solutions a plus.
- Experience with 3PL account management and knowledge of inventory transactions/controls highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to use effective persuasion and negotiation skills as well as problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- ERP, WMS and TMS software experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with, present to, and influence a group of co-workers, supervisors, managers, or higher-level executives.
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% based on project and business needs.

Hiring Range: $79,500.00-130,000.
