Help Desk Support Specialist I – Onsite, Aliso Viejo, CA
Shift: 8am-4:30pm pdt, M-F
The Help Desk Support Specialist I is the initial point of contact for end user technology support. This role provides prompt and professional assistance in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and services.
Essential Functions
- Respond to service requests and incidents reported via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely and courteous manner.
- Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to endpoints (Dell, Apple), access management (O365, Active Directory), voice services (Verizon, Teams, Talkdesk), and printing (Konica, Zebra).
- Document and escalate unresolved issues to higher level support tiers.
- Provide basic software and hardware support, including password reset and account management.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests and resolutions in the ticketing system (KACE).
- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation for internal and end-user reference.
- Participate in training and knowledge sharing activities to enhance technical skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification or experience.
- Experience with ITIL service management practices.
- Knowledge of Windows RSAT tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Ability to follow established procedures and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
