- US Citizenship required - Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information upon hire.
- Bachelor’s of engineering/Business degree or related technical degree.
- Experiences as an Operational Director for 6-10 years with multi-functional groups such as manufacturing, supply chain, test/manufacturing/concurrent engineering and planning.
- 10+ years in electronics manufacturing environment.
- Experience producing robust electronics equipment for the demanding DoD market.
- Strong understanding of and experience with application of Manufacturing Enterprise and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems in an electronic manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of and experience with application of Lean Manufacturing Concepts such as Kanban, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, etc. in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Experience running an operations team in compliance with CMMI Level 3 and AS9100 processes.
- Ability to foster teamwork across different functional areas within Thales Defense & Security, Inc. and other Thales entities.
- Proven leadership with ability to effectively create and execute to workforce plans to meet objectives and business strategic goals.
- This is an on-site operations leadership role.
- This role requires periodic domestic travel or international travel to other TDSI or Thales entities.
