Quantitative Social Science Researcher

Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience conducting social science, public health, or diversity and inclusion research
- 2+ years of experience creating verbal and written communication products for non-technical clients, including research reports, PowerPoint briefing decks, and information papers
- Experience interpreting statistical findings and presenting data and research results to non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of research methodology, including qualitative methods, quantitative methods, and statistics
- Knowledge of workplace climate indicators that contribute to diversity and inclusion
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience applying public health and social science research in a military setting
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion or equal opportunity research and policy
- Knowledge of multivariate statistical methods, including logistic regression, multivariate regression, or multilevel modeling
- Ability to leverage quantitative methodology to shape research questions and data models
- Ability to operationalize key research concepts
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Master’s degree in Social Science, Epidemiology, or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
