As the Administrative Nurse Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supervising clerical support staff, providing administrative support to the Nurse Manager, and coordinating a variety of impactful projects. You will ensure smooth operations by managing HR/payroll transactions, complex time reporting, and compliance activities, all while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- HR/Payroll Management: Initiate, monitor, and troubleshoot HR/payroll transactions using systems like Kronos and MSS. Assist in creating new positions and analyze personnel issues.
- Time Reporting: Prepare master time reports, resolve pay discrepancies, and ensure payroll data accuracy, including new hires, terminations, and transfers.
- Reporting & Data Management: Compile and prepare reports, verify information, and respond to data-related inquiries.
- Project Management: Act as the unit project manager, planning and creating timelines, identifying milestones, and documenting progress. Ensure project participants meet deliverables.
- Administrative Support: Develop policies and procedures to improve unit workflow, manage administrative operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Compliance Activities: Maintain regulatory documents, ensure audit readiness, and track compliance, education, and training requirements.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in public health, business administration, healthcare administration, communications, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in administering office operations and project coordination, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint; strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Attributes: Creative, innovative, detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to interpret and implement policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: Master’s degree is a plus.
