PRIMARY OBJECTIVE :
The supervisor is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordination of all plannable maintenance work performed within the facility. The supervisor is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters. Supervisor will work closely with Storeroom attendant and the Maintenance planner to ensure proper parts are available for the work to be done. Supervisor will directly be supervising and managing the hourly maintenance work force.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Minimize downtime and interruptions to operations
Develop PM’s and review PM program on a recurring basis for effectiveness
Develop and publish weekly scheduled based off capacity planning
Apply technical and maintenance experience to analysis of each job
Provide procedures for completing work and closing work orders
Provide a full day of productive work for each tradesperson
Allow elimination of delays due to waiting for information, materials, equipment, other skills, tool, etc.
Provide special tool and equipment requirements
Supervise and manage the work force and establish job goals for them
Assist planning and scheduling of shutdowns
Work with Storeroom Attendant – oversee activities ensuring adequate requisitions of parts
Establish a maintenance presence & awareness on the production lines
Occasionally inspect the quality of performed maintenance work.
Ensure departmental safety permits are properly completed
Reduce total cost of maintenance while improving conditions of equipment and operating facilities
Provide close and constant liaison between operations and maintenance
Provide a full day of productive work for each tradesperson
Create requisitions as needed; communicate purchase order numbers to vendors when received and obtain estimated delivery date
Analyze, identify, and communicate information regarding open purchase orders utilizing out-of-network vendors; identifies, researches, and resolves problems relating to purchasing issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Management of Maintenance staff time /attendance in timekeeping system
Backfill for the other Maintenance Supervisor as needed Vacations, training, rotation of weekend work etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor Degree preferred or
5 years’ experience in industrial Maintenance
5 years’ experience in Troubleshooting skills with High Mechanical Aptitude
5 years' experience in Electrical Skills
3 years of experience utilizing a CMMS
knowledge of SAP & Kronos
Knowledge of storeroom policies and practices
Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $77,400 to $120,100 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $85,140 to $132,110.
