Position Summary:
Incumbent is responsible for delivering social services, including psychosocial evaluation and treatment, advocacy, teaching, referrals to community services, and assisting as needed with discharge planning. Participates in case coverage and other necessary support for other social workers in the Department of Clinical Social Work / Care Coordination. Participates in formal and informal teaching, including supervision of social work graduate students and in-service education for nurses, nursing students, medical residents, fellows, interns, and ancillary staff.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $81,828.72 Midpoint $94,899.60 Maximum $107,970.48
Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to interpret and implement all applicable standards and regulations such as, The Joint Commission, DHS, and the Child Abuse Registry
Master's Degree in Social Work
Knowledge of and ability to work within a complex health care system
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Licenses and Certifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
Currently posses an ASW License
