Job Description
An HR Generalist will be accountable for various HR-related tasks, particularly in recruitment, which encompasses applicant tracking and onboarding. They will also manage personnel records, employee relations, administer benefit enrollments, and ensure compliance with laws.
Requirements:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Recruitment expertise
- Onboarding experience
- Proficiency in employee relations
- Comprehensive knowledge of benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Life, STD, LTD, FSA)
- Assistance with 401K and benefits enrollment
- Management of leaves of absence
- HR reporting skills
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS
- Knowledgeable of employment laws including ERISA, COBRA, ADA, as well as Federal and State laws regarding discrimination and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
- 7 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist
- 5 years of experience in recruiting and onboarding
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred
- Experience in construction is preferred
