Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent and one-year related experience and/or training.
- The ability to read and write in English and have good verbal communication skills.
- Must qualify for a license with the Maryland State Lottery Agency and meet any credentialing requirements of the Maryland Gaming Control Board.
- Basic math skills, such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move between 5-25lbs.
- The ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 25lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- The completion of a basic culinary training/education/certificate program.
- Knowledge of cooking temperatures of all proteins.
- Knowledge of basic health department safety standards of cooking and cooling.
- Knowledge of proper ways to clean a workstation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While carrying out the responsibilities of this position, the Team Member will regularly engage in speaking and listening. Additionally, the Team Member will frequently be involved in tasks such as standing, walking, and using their hands for activities like handling, fingering, or feeling. On occasion, the Team Member may be required to sit, reach with their hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and even use their senses of taste and smell. Furthermore, the Team Member will often need to lift and move items weighing between 5 and 25 pounds, and occasionally, they may need to lift and transport objects exceeding 25 pounds. Specific visual acuity demands for this position encompass close vision, distance vision, color perception, peripheral vision, depth recognition, and the ability to focus as required.
