General Description: Responsible for managing a team of IT professionals focused on business relationship management. Identify and justify projects, outline requirements, user acceptance testing and training.
Responsibilities:
The Manager IT performs a wide range of duties including some, or all, of the following:
· Responsible for full-cycle management and development of a team.
· Responsible for supporting changes to new and existing Business Services and Applications.
- Act as an IT liaison with the Line of Business members.
- Interface with application and business services vendors.
- Manage vendor contracts and billing.
- Review utilization of vendor provided services.
- Identify opportunities for improvements to top line growth and bottom-line savings.
- Develop business cases and ROI justification for proposed projects.
- Take part in recurring business review meetings. Present current operational and project status updates. Prioritize tasks and resolve issues.
- Manage projects of various sizes.
Cyber Security Job Responsibilities:
· Operate in accordance with USI Policies for the Information Security Program (PISP) and USI Standards for the Information Security Program (SISP)
· Keep up to date with security updates and improvements. Implement improvements as appropriate.
· Protect systems against unauthorized access by appropriately defining access.
· Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security and technical controls.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· 5+ years of related experience. College degree preferred.
· Experience with Excel, Word and Microsoft Project.
· Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and work-ethic.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines under pressure.
· Ability to influence and build relationships. Includes LOB stakeholders, technology leadership and external service providers.
· Proven Project Management experience.
· Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects or large-scale individual projects.
· Ability to travel up to 20% of time.
