The Purpose:
As the Product Marketing Lead, you will be a critical leader in the Product Marketing team and bring strategic leadership, deep analytical thinking and extensive experience in delivering compelling and differentiated marketing plans to help us hit our business goals out of the park.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving marketing and business strategy, strengthening the product marketing talent in the team, and owning key growth initiatives within the organization. This role also focuses on understanding our target buyers, their pain points and how to translate that into customer solutions that you can communicate through audience-specific channels and content.
What You'll Do:
- Report to VP, Product Marketing and partner with the Product team, Growth Marketing team and broader Business team.
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans for our product to ensure cohesive positioning across all platforms to create a whole greater than the sum of its parts.
- Work closely with the Business and Product teams to create synergistic campaigns that drive traffic, engagement and user growth.
- Define and track key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, and adjust strategies to meet business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
- 7-8 years of experience in product marketing, strategy, business operations and/or management consulting in the consumer tech space.
- Ability to operate at a strategic and tactical level, with strong analytical skills and excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to operate in a fast-moving, fast-growing, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a matrixed environment and across multiple time-zones.
- Passion for the mission of Slickdeals (to bring the joy of discovering a great deal to shoppers) and the e-commerce industry.
LOCATION: San Mateo, CA
Hybrid schedule visiting our San Mateo, CA office three days a week (Tues-Thurs).
