Serve existing accounts by analyzing and performing work orders; gather components, parts, and tools to complete installation. Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Install ducts. Install insulation. Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment. Premeasure jobs to identify proper materials required for installation. Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job. Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements. Perform routine preven...tative maintenance. Maintain rapport with customers, communicate details of work being performed and educate on use of new system(s)Document service and installation by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)Meet quality metrics and maintain an advanced installation skillset in duct work, advanced and complicated installations, and client satisfaction. Required to train Install Apprentices through the HVAC installation process.
Qualifications
3-5 years of install experience, EPA Certified. Clean work, Strong attention to detail. Great communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of single-stage, two-stage & variable speed/inverted HVAC technology. Knowledge of refrigeration theory and troubleshooting. Knowledge of electrical theory and troubleshooting. Knowledge of proper recovery, evacuation, brazing, bending & purging techniques. Sheet metal installation and modification experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong judgment skills to make sound business decisions and resolve issues.
