The Equipment Technician supports nursing staff on a daily basis by coordinating, cleaning and the movement of the equipment for each patient care area . This individual will work closely with the nursing departments to ensure the daily availability of related equipment and provide the necessary communication regarding the status of equipment and PAR levels. Through collaboration with the nursing staff and leadership this individual with coordinate the movement of equipment to facilitate the daily schedule needs. Provides input into both operating and capital budgetary needs and insuring the general effectiveness of the medical equipment.
Minimum Education:
• High School Graduate
Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
• 6 -12 months’ experience working with medical equipment
Required License/Certification:
• Fire and Safety Certification. If employee does not have card upon hire one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date (Required within LA City only)
The hourly rate range for this position is $18.20 - $30.97.
