Our US West Program Management Construction Management (PMCM) team has an excellent opportunity for a Project Controls Professional. This is a unique opportunity for a mid-level individual to participate join a large, well-established organization with a culture that promotes teamwork, integrity, and respect.
The US West PMCM group supports our clients in the planning and delivery of large facilities and infrastructure projects in the US West and Pacific. Our core business is to provide Program and Project, Design and Construction Management, Contract Controls and Administration Services. We manage the initiation and delivery of major capital works projects for state and local government, and Federal projects for the Department of Defense.
You will work closely with our highly skilled multi-disciplinary teams throughout the organization and our clients to efficiently deliver projects and provide high value consultancy services. We partner internally with the water, transportation, environmental, energy, properties and buildings markets, digital and advisory services to provide support to the wider GHD network to deliver landmark infrastructure and facilities programs.. This position can be located in any of our offices in California, Arizona, or Washington state.

Working in our PMCM team, this position offers a great variety of projects in multiple locations that will engage you in:
- ROMs for feasibility & investment
- Assumption & objectives validation
- Cost and budget review & accountability

- Value Engineering, innovation and integration
- Bidding Assistance & Contractor selection
- Constructability Review
- Monitoring Contractors: processing change orders and claim process
Working within our experienced PMCM groups your duties and responsibilities will be but are not limited to:
Preparation of all levels of estimates and proposals to support construction projects. This position will prepare and present lump sum bids, proposals, unit cost and quantities for various projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients.
- Lead or support Clients, Stakeholders, internal multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Manage and deliver tasks to required quality and safety standards
- Develop and identify value engineering, risk and mitigation cost alternatives
- Support development of project proposals
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with different clients both internally and externally focused Assistance on project proposals and delivery
- Develop, manage and maintain projects in BST10, Excel, PowerBi and other relevant applications
- Generate reports and lead deliverables coordination
- Update schedule, cost analysis and reporting on projects
- Assist Project Team leads with managing project commercial and technical documents
- Efficiently implement processes and compliance
- Assist in the building project documents and schedules from information provided by project managers
- Monitor financial aspects and schedule of projects
- Report on project overruns and slippages
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant tertiary education or equivalent
- A track record of implementing procedures, processes, and systems on large and complex infrastructure projects
- Minimum 10 years’ project estimating experience providing most of the essential duties and responsibilities noted above
- Facilities and Infrastructure experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and relevant software to excel in this position

Salary Range: $120,000-$179,000 based on experience and location
