Responsibilities |
The incumbent will teach a total of five courses in the general area of Fiction Writing. These courses may be at all levels of the vertical curriculum. The successful candidate may also bring knowledge of and practice in a subgenre that would broaden and deepen the existing curriculum, such as, for example, speculative fiction or graphic narrative. |
Qualifications |
Among the qualifications required for appointment is the MFA or Ph.D degree (in hand or expected by first semester of academic year 2024-25). Candidate should show a strong publication record. Candidates must demonstrate interest and potential excellence in undergraduate teaching. Successful teaching experience at the college level is desirable. Compensation |
Within the range established for this position, salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes an excellent benefits package. |
