As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide financial or revenue cycle management (RCM) data, metrics, and standard or ad hoc reporting to support the needs of Cleveland Clinic. This role may include responsibility for standard general ledger reconciliations, expense analysis, and chargemaster.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information.
- Provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues.
- Assists with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning processes.
Retrieves and manipulates complex information with database tools, such as SAS and Teradata.
- Consults with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Performs special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, Business or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Ability to complete sophisticated analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills, decisive judgment and the ability to lead projects and people.
- Strong understanding of complex key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years finance, revenue cycle management or general analytical experience required.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Offset: Master's degree and 3 years of related experience.
- Offset: Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may offset 1 year of required experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate computer.
- Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds.
- May require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting.
- Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.
