Summary:
Responsible for supporting the corporate mission, vision and values. Responsible to Nutrition Services for nutritional service of patient, customers, employees, and community. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.
Salary Range: $15.30 - $19.83

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years in foodservice experience, with recent experience in the past 5 years preferred. 
- Hospitality/restaurant/retail or similar related experience preferred. Experience with batch cooking, recipe development and recipe expansion needed.
Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

Orders, prepares, seasons, cooks, assembles, and sets up main entrees, soups, vegetables, cereal, bakery pastries, sauces, gravies, etc. according to established standards. Selects, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes.

Cleans equipment and maintains work area.

Organizes and reviews menu, summary, and catering sheets for all food items needed. Maintains supplies applicable to the area, stores and rotates items according to health standards. Maintains supplies and creates a “welcoming” environment.

Prepares special functions and special events. Accountable for quality and quantity of prepared items, properly portions and serves as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
