The Electrician is responsible for performing installs, repairs, tests/diagnose and maintenance to a variety of equipment and electrical systems in accordance with accepted codes, standards and manufacturer’s recommendations. Including: Installation of electrical utilization equipment (such as motors, HVAC units, etc.), wiring, wire pulls, splices, lighting fixtures, lighting systems, power equipment, switches, relays, circuit breakers, panels, electrical conduit, etc.)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, maintain, and repair to a variety of equipment and electrical systems
• Analyze, Plan, and Perform Preventive Maintenance and repairs to a variety of equipment and electrical systems
• Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs
• Plan shutdowns, read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Install and maintain wiring, controls, and lighting systems, conduit, transformers and circuit breakers.
• Troubleshoot, repair and make modifications to electrical systems
• Maintain maintenance records and Adhere to all city, federal regulatory statues, state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code
• Order and maintain parts needed to repair and maintain electrical systems
• Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
• Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
• Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
• Manage relationships with all major vendor accounts
• Maintain a high quality of service at all times
• Strong trouble-shooting and problem solving skills
• Properly maintain and safeguard assets.
• Able to work well on a team
