DH Capital, a Citizens Company, is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for our NYC office. Associates will work closely with the team’s junior and senior professionals preparing, analyzing, and executing banking related transactions, primarily within the U.S. middle market.
Our Associates are exposed to multiple industries within our core areas of focus. In addition to key execution responsibilities, Associates manage consistent deal flow and are a main point of contact for our clients. All Associates have significant exposure to senior bankers and are involved in all stages of a transaction; they are an integral part of delivery to our clients and prospects.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Managing and assisting with the preparation of financial models and business valuations
- Supporting junior and senior team members in developing new business ideas, pitch strategies, or transaction structuring scenarios (inclusive of equity, debt and/or M&A) to help the firm’s corporate and sponsor clients achieve their financial and strategic objectives
- Leading / participating in meetings with current and prospective clients
- Conducting industry and company due diligence
- Preparing and reviewing information memoranda and other transaction documents: draft key marketing and key transaction related documents
- Preparing and reviewing pitch/business origination materials and other presentations: develop and review pitches and other presentations and be an integral part of the team in delivering these presentations
- Assisting business development efforts
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- 3+ years of work experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or similar role.
- Experience in Technology Infrastructure or Real Estate (Datacenter) is highly preferred.
- Intelligent and resourceful
- Professional / concise oral and written communication
- Strong technical skills (knowledge of accounting, modeling, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-starter / intellectual curiosity
- Strong work ethic / team player / high degree of humility, maturity, and integrity
- Ability to work efficiently and to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40 +
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience. ?
