The City of Redlands Management Services department is seeking an Accountant to be a part of the Revenue Division. This position will focus on daily banking activity, investment transactions, cash flow analysis, performing complex journal entries, and balancing of the daily cash receipts.
Under general direction, performs a variety of complex and professional accounting duties including technical, financial, and statistical analyses associated with a variety of significant programs, including the City's general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions and the formulation of operating and capital budgets. May exercise some technical and functional supervision over technical and clerical accounting staff.
