Manager, Lifecycle Marketing – SBS Accountant Channel

The Manager of Lifecycle Marketing will have a crucial role in building awareness, creating demand, and generating leads for the sales team through digital marketing and marketing lifecycle touchpoints for the Wholesale Channel. Wholesale accounting firms typically “white label” ADP payroll under their own brand to serve their clients, so this role has two dimensions: the parent accounting firm, and the small business(es) using ADP payroll services. We will be marketing directly to accounting firms as well as through accounting firms to cross-sell upsell other ADP solutions e.g. Insurance, Retirement, to their RUN clients.
This position requires a self-starter with strong creativity and the ability to manage projects in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will energetically strive for innovation and results-oriented outcomes. This role needs to be self-directed and able to handle multiple tasks, delegate responsibility through a matrixed team, and prioritize with a professional, can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a two-pronged approach for marketing to and through Wholesale Accounting firms and implement overall “lifecycle” marketing strategy to drive awareness, leads, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
- Content Development & Execution.
- Create a marketing campaign calendar, including trigger events; determine tactics to leverage, including existing webinars, blogs, white papers, research, infographics, etc.
- Plan and execute multi-channel/multi-touch direct marketing engagement programs including email campaigns, collateral, direct mail, webinars, thought leadership, etc.
- Distribution. Drive marketing/sales “touchpoint/lifecycle” campaigns for the parent accounting firm and child accounts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration. Coordinate with Sales, Service, and Product Management teams to ensure impactful results.
- Ensure methods are in place to track and measure ROI of campaigns for continuous improvement. Work with and educate the sales teams to ensure proper execution of marketing-driven leads.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of related B2B Marketing experience
- Content and Email Marketing experience
- Demonstrated ability in building and leading marketing programs
- Self-starter with strong creativity
