As the Clinical Patient Educator, you will assume responsibility and accountability for conducting patient and family learning needs assessments and provide individualized education accordingly for various disease management programs within the department. You will develop curriculum, orientations, competencies, as well as audit tools approved by the System Director and RN Assistant Director.In addition, you will assist in Quality Assessments and other Administrative Duties as assigned by the RN Assistant Director. You will be responsible for assisting with clinical management, supervisory, and administrative coordination within the Department of Ambulatory Care Management and its various programs. You will also supervise assigned staff and the position is a combination of clinical, supervisory, and administrative responsibilities.
This position includes 40% on-site travel
Salary Range: $67.06 - $97.43/hourly
Job Qualifications

CA RN License
BSN required/MSN preferred
BLS through ARC or AHA
CDPN preferred
3 years of recent acute care and clinical education experience.
40% of onsite travel required
Demonstrated skills including evaluating staff, coaching and development, setting objectives
Demonstrated educational and organizational abilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong relationship building skills.
Excellent problem solving ability.
Demonstrated skill in psychosocial assessments of patient / families, clinical interventions, and treatment planning with patients and families.
