Purpose of the Role:
As a Project Coordinator, you will track, collect, and monitor provider eligibility in accordance with the California Department of Social Services. This role involves assisting in the remittal of funds, verifications, and maintaining keen attention to detail to ensure compliance and eligibility for the Stage 1 and Bridge Supplemental Rates Payment Project.

Has experience with Windows/Outlook, Excel, navigating and researching on the internet, data entry, word processing, and PowerPoint software application programs to create and present material.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently, lead, and coordinate small to large groups.
Exhibits excellent presentation skills and can communicate and respond effectively to various questions.
Can interpret rules and regulations, documents, and verification needs from English/Spanish both verbally and in written form.
Is detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Adapts to new situations and promotes a positive workplace atmosphere.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Review state provided data. Collect, reconcile information and maintain master spreadsheet and/or database for payment approval and provide detailed information of such data on a weekly basis or as needed.
Audit spreadsheet and/or database for accuracy.
Maintain organization of provider eligibility to create an accurate paper trail showing the history of documentation and verification of provider eligibility and payment.
Research a variety of provider status and reimbursement inquires, requesting verified adjustments and following up as needed.
Communicate with child care providers to obtain required information; provide excellent customer service.
Verify Tax ID and use Adobe Sign to collect W9; respond to questions and provide training to providers on how to complete the W9 and any other required documentation or forms.
Assist supervisor by creating, implementing, coordinating and completing special assignments or projects.
As directed by supervisor, follow-up with new or current employees to check on their development, providing additional training and/or mentoring as needed or requested.
Participate in regular stipend team meetings and work closely with staff from different departments to ensure timely payment of supplemental rate payments.
Participate in software testing.
Other duties supporting CDA programs as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Associate’s degree in human services, or related field preferred; two to three-year related experience and/or training that demonstrates the knowledge skills and abilities necessary to fulfill the job responsibilities listed below.
Verbal and written fluency in English and Spanish required.
Ability to travel to and from CDA locations, attend conferences and/or meetings as needed. Certification of good DMV record; valid California driver’s license, auto registration and insurance. This position is contingent upon a successful background clearance.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday—Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Office/Remote (hybrid) options available after training has been completed.
