Position Overview: As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Controller will report directly to the CEO and COO, managing all facets of finance and accounting. This includes financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, process improvement, and strategic decision making. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with experience in similar industries, capable of driving process improvements and managing change with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operations including Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, Payable, and Payroll.
Supervise and develop the accounting team;enhance accounting processes and policies.
Serve as the liaison with banks, CPAs, financial advisors, attorneys, insurance companies, and other external partners.
Ensure compliance with various business tax filings and manage vendor relationships effectively.
Conduct detailed financial analysis, prepare monthly financial reports, and oversee budgeting and financial planning.
Key Performance Indicators:
Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
Achievement of budget and forecast accuracy.
Effectiveness in cost-saving and process improvements.
Strategic influence on planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role;industry-related experience preferred.
Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage effectively across the organization.
Proficient in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
