Role Responsibilities
Creative Direction:
Develop and maintain a clear creative vision for all photography projects, ensuring alignment with the Anthropologie brand.
Provide on-set direction and make selects in real time to ensure the successful execution of the creative vision.
Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results without compromising on creativity.
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and conceptualize ideas for ecommerce, photo shoots, and other visual content.
Provide direction and guidance to photographers, stylists, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of creative concepts.
Quality Control:
Review and approve all final images to ensure that they meet the brand's standards for quality, composition, and style.
Provide feedback and direction to photographers and retouchers to achieve the desired look and feel for each project.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in photography and visual storytelling, and incorporate new ideas into your work.
Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a team of photographers, stylists, and other creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping them to develop their skills and grow in their roles.
Encourage creativity and innovation within the team, pushing boundaries to achieve outstanding results.
Role Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field.
Proven experience as a photo art director in an ecommerce fashion environment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative vision, artistic talent, and technical proficiency in photography.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One and other relevant software tools.
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in photography, fashion, and visual storytelling.
Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Passion for the Anthropologie brand and a deep appreciation for art, design, and creativity.
