Crespi Carmelite High School seeks a full-time teacher to join the STEM-Science Department for the 2024-2025 school year.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in life sciences and comfortable teaching Biology classes and interested in the opportunity to teach Zoology classes.
Crespi Carmelite High School’s mission is to build men of character and faith united in brotherhood and formed through a contemporary, Catholic college-preparatory education in the Carmelite tradition of prayer, community, and service.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required.
Teaching credential preferred.
Teaching experience preferred.
Proficiency in the use of technology as it relates to daily school operations, instruction, and communication.
Duties:
Support and seek always to fulfill the guiding Catholic mission of the school, ministering to school community members in the tradition of the Carmelites.
Create, manage, and offer a variety of learning experiences that provide opportunities for students to develop their potential and achieve their learning objectives.
Apply research-based practices to establish a boy-friendly learning environment that is inclusive of multiple intelligences.
Participate collaboratively and professionally with other faculty and staff to promote the general well being of the department and the school as well as the collective and individual interest of school faculty, staff, and student body.

Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
