JOB OVERVIEW:
The Program Manager for the Antiviolence Community Partnership Grant (AVCPG) program will report to the Program Director and will assist with the development of systems to manage the program. The Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the program, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, supporting the Director with managing key internal and external stakeholders, and completing all reporting and documentation per funder guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize project management software, such as MS Teams, Smartsheet, and Submittable, to assess and manage workplan activities, ensure grant timelines are met, and track grantee communication.
Collaborate with the Director to provide support for systems and processes used in PHMC financial management and grant disbursement.
Help develop and implement standard operating procedures internal to PHMC and external to the city, PHMC, and grantees to ensure consistent and efficient financial management practices.
Ensure grant recipients are informed of and adhere to established standard operating procedures.
Support the Program Director, PHMC fiscal, and contract and city representative with the development, management, coordination, execution, tracking, and reporting of program deliverables.
Maintain organized and accurate documentation of all grant-related activities.
Coordinate and host internal and external meetings with PHMC’s fiscal, contracts, and program teams.
Support the Director with the development of progress reports for C-suite review.
Liaise as needed with external evaluation and technical assistance partnership.
Schedule, coordinate, and manage meetings and events, including arranging venues, sending invitations, and preparing materials.
Supervise the AVCPG Program Coordinator.
Support the Director with continuous quality improvement of project activities, workflow, and accountability.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic financial management and budgeting knowledge

Participate in required trainings and events to help PHMC public health programs create an anti-racist, inclusive workspace for staff.
LOCATION: This position is office-based and located in Center City Philadelphia.
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
EDUCATION: Master’s degree in public health or public administration required
EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience in public health, project coordination, or a related area required
Experience and familiarity with financial compliance requirements
Preferred: Experience with management of government contracts and non-profit evaluation techniques and tools
SALARY GRADE: 19
