Primary responsibility to be assigned based upon daily need (i.e., dishroom. pot washer, porter, hot food dipper, runner). Responsibility includes cleaning and sanitizing soiled serviceware and equipment in both the kitchen and cafeteria, setting up hot food work station and assembling patient food trays. Assembles trays for general and therapeutic diets. Conscientiously prepares and portions special food items necessary for patient tray service. Promptly reports to stations or trayline at specified starting time. Always sets up work station with correct food items. Promptly reports food shortage or malfunctioning equipment on the trayline. 5. Performs other related duties as necessary including, but not limited too, the following. Fills ice in soda machine daily. Fills soda and juice machines daily. 6. Attends in-service meetings as required. EXPERIENCE Six (6) months to one (1) year in the food service industry preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to stand in one place for up to three (3) hours. Must be able to push and pull food delivery trucks. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
