The technical service technician will be responsible for preparation, installation, and showcasing of the companys products and to assist in the creation of samples for customers. This is in the food service industry. Successful candidates must have excellent verbal skills, be fluent in English, be reliable, and able to provide outstanding customer service. Responsibilities for this Technical Service Technician - Customer Service Representative job include:
Frequent traveling for the installation of equipment and inspection of machines, products, processes.
Responsible for customer tests, preparation for product testing, including purchasingingredients, machine set up, quality control, and reporting in order to providebetterquality of products by using equipment.
Correspond to customers questions/claims about anything technical by phone or email.
Arrange packing and shipping of samples, machines and parts.
Ensure all lab machines, equipment, supplies, ingredients, and area are kept clean andorganized.
Submit trip reports (hand over certification with customers signature and expensereport)
Attend exhibitions, local seminars, etc. when necessary to showcase company products.
Send daily short reports to manager by email even if the manager is out the office and ifon a business trip. Please cc all Technical Dept. employees on all reports.
Correspond to customers questions/claims about anything technical by phone or email.
Submit trip reports (hand over certification with customers signature and expensereport)Order ingredients, supplies, etc.
Help with other office work.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent related work experience
3-4 year of customer service; preferably in food preparation or production
Must be able to travel about 40% of the time, by both car and airplane
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Make good decisions and resolve issues in a clear, calm, and diplomatic matter
Understanding of Microsoft Suite; computer skills
