Responsibilities:
Manage proposal development phases: analyze RFPs, build compliance matrices, draft outlines, and develop schedules.
Lead proposal teams: assign tasks, conduct status meetings, and provide quality assurance through reviews.
Develop winning strategies: craft compelling responses focused on client needs, identify risks and mitigation plans.
Oversee proposal production: manage content, structure, and delivery to ensure a winning presentation.
Continuously improve processes: implement best practices, utilize automation tools, and maintain a comprehensive content library.
Stay informed: track solicitation modifications and coach teams on persuasive writing and best practices.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree (business/communications) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience managing proposal teams (3-5 years) for government opportunities.
Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills with strong leadership ability.
Expertise in proposal methodology (e.g., Shipley standards).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management tools, and government databases.
Ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to various work styles.
