Description
The Automation Program Lead will be responsible for creating requirements for all specifications which support the vision and direction of automation testing. This includes creating functional specifications that support the product roadmap and guiding any automation feature from concept to market throughout the development life cycle with limited supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with prospective users and stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
Provide vision and direction for the product to the development team and stakeholders throughout the development life cycle that creates and follows a product road map
Develop user stories with requirements on each
Research, analyze, and assist with defining the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
Manage the product backlog and prioritize them based on changing requirements
Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development
Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process
Host or participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints
Share market research and competitive analysis with the team to best focus their efforts
Balance the needs of stakeholders in the development process; advocate on behalf of the customer for the development team and advocate on the behalf of the development team with appropriately setting customer expectations
To the extent possible, mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release and sprint goals
Assist with special projects as needed
Develop training material for the users of automation
Process feedback requests to ensure automation is meeting end user needs
Communicate and maintain all documentation for automation
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
2+ years’ experience in a technical role related to automation framework, development, or product management or role within the industry directly related to specific product module, or equivalent combination of education and experience

2+ years’ experience in the agile methodology
