The Manager of IT Business operations is the responsible for IT program and department operational communications and content. The NFL seeks an individual with experience creating and maintaining programs for successful, inspiring, and engaging content and communications that highlight the mission, goals, and work at all levels of the IT department. The ideal candidate is a skilled story weaver who can combine multiple threads across different topics and subjects to create a larger epic themes and stories. This individual also creates a formal program with tracking and reporting for IT executives for IT initiatives, themes, and stories. This individual is also responsible for IT resource tracking and reporting. This individual is creative and resourceful as well as an excellent listener. This role must be conducted with the utmost of integrity, trust, and discretion handling time and stakeholder sensitive information. As the IT lead for creating interactions and content to drive engagement, this individual takes a deliberate and thoughtful approach that is formal, consistent, and measured for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Establishes, manages, and implements a comprehensive and effective IT brand, stakeholder, and team engagement program in collaboration with the CIO and IT Leadership
Primary author and editor of IT communications, policies, and content across all forms of media (presentations, written, visual, video)
Assists IT leaders and team members in creating individual communications and campaigns
Contributing author and editor of external IT communications in partnership with sponsorship
Authors and develops content in collaboration with the CIO, IT Leadership and HR to build an engaging and rewarding IT team culture
Develops storylines that emphasize NFL values, foster growth and improvement, motivate IT team members, deepen working relationship and celebrate successes and strengths
Managing the on-boarding approval process for IT Contingent Workers
Create monthly Resource Trending Report for distribution to CIO ?
Creation of job descriptions for IT roles
Write letters, interdepartmental memos, and other business correspondence
Collaborate with NFL PR to manage, coordinate, and edit IT’s response press requests and releases
Author and edit speeches and presentations for internal and external appearances by IT team members
Manages the planning and operation of the calendar year of internal IT team events, IT leadership and town hall meetings under the Office of the CIO.
Assists in the planning and implementation of strategic IT workshops with internal team members, stakeholders, partners, vendors, and Clubs.
Works with the Office of the CIO leadership to implement and uses metrics to measure the impact of IT programs and communications
Proactively researches, designs, proposes, and manages IT brand and knowledge sharing campaigns, including multi-year long-term programs.
Required Qualifications
3+ years authoring and editing public or internal relations communications and content across written, presentations, visualizations, photo and video content
3+ years authoring technical documents and policies
3+ years planning and facilitating town hall style meetings and collaborative workshops
3+ years planning, creating, and executing team building and department values and culture content and events
Skilled content author across written, visualizations (e.g., data, graph, charts), speeches, presentations, video scripts
Skilled at establishing and maintaining internal and external business relationships
Excellent knowledge of IT and Digital business practices, vocabulary, and terminology
Excellent at authoring story lines and illustrations that tie technical work and accomplishments to corporate business objectives and outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
College degree or equivalent professional or military experience
Confident host and public speaker
Experienced creating workflow diagrams
Experienced working with VIP external business partners, franchise owners and executives, sponsorship representatives
Experienced technical business analyst
Skilled in utilizing project, resource, and task management software

Salary / Pay Range
