The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing front desk administrative support in the Student Services department.
Responsibilities
Responsible for front desk reception that includes answering incoming department calls, welcoming students, guests and visitors, providing program information, and directing students to appropriate office
Assist students with registering for courses and dropping/changing courses
Handles general clerical needs of office: copying, faxing, filing and responding to telephone inquiries
Manage filing system for the department
Maintaining COM student files
Assist with COM functions, ceremonies, open houses, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Eduation/ Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year administrative experience
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
General administrative duties.
Strong interpersonal skills
Well organized
Physical Demands
Sitting for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
Computer Skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Maximum Salary
USD $38,500.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $30,800.00/Yr.
