Develops individual client therapy plans. Participates in the supervision of interns/practicum students; designs and conducts developmental and outreach activities that will facilitate student growth. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
Experience as a counselor to adults and/or young adults.
Licensure as a social worker, counselor, or marriage and family therapist in Ohio. OR licensed out of state with eligibility for licensure in Ohio.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a college student population or working in a university/college counseling center. Experience and interest in working with diverse clients.
Experience with short-term therapy and outreach or prevention work.
Experience in crisis response or urgent appointments.
Ability to collaborate collegially with a multidisciplinary staff, both within the Counseling Center and throughout the CSU community.
Ability to effectively utilize an electronic medical records system.
