Interactive Summer Workshop for Lynwood Migrant Students
The Migrant Education Program is looking for dedicated teachers who are interested in providing direct in-person support and services to all elementary and middle
school Migrant Education Students in the areas of English Language Arts, Math, Science and English Language Development. Elementary school and Middle school students
in the Migrant Education Program will be provided: In-Person Instruction & Support
July 29th - August 2nd, 2024
from 8:00am - 12:00pm
Compensated at LUSD Hourly Rate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
. Current District Teacher
. Availability to host in-person and/or virtual individual student and class meetings daily
. Administer and Analyze Pre & Post Assessment Data
. Ability to interact positively and constructively with adolescents; work effectively with adults; communicate in oral and written form.
. Communicate with parents to maximize students’ social and student success and assisting in parental understanding of child development
. Maintain confidential student records/information in an appropriate manner for the purpose of documenting and providing reliable information.
