Job Title: Sr. Associate, Content & Experience
Reporting to: Associate Director of Sports, Live & Gaming
Location: Wavemaker NY
About The Role
This role sits within the Sports, Live & Gaming practice at Wavemaker, which leads all brand partnerships, inclusive of esports, sports, entertainment, and experiential initiatives across Wavemaker clients.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an ambitious partnership marketer with a mix of creativity, smart & analytical thinking, and strong project management skills with relevant experience and a strong passion for sports marketing and hospitality
- Play a critical role in supporting the development of integrated sports partnership and hospitality programs for our clients
- Be expected to help activate and lead the day-to-day management of integrated and multi-channel partnerships
Responsibilities
- Help to shape our clients partnership portfolio – developing and implementing 360 partnership efforts inclusive of media commitments, IP/rights, signage, custom content, experiential activations, and hospitality/tickets
- Oversee the development, management and execution of a comprehensive hospitality strategy and process for contractual hospitality across clients’ partnership portfolio
- Support the day-to-day activation of sports partnerships with properties, leagues, teams, talent, and media partners
- Ability to take ownership of account servicing responsibilities, including but not limited to agendas, status documents, briefs, recaps, & reporting
- Develop and execute marketing plans designed to achieve brand goals
- Work collaboratively with internal Wavemaker teams including planning, strategy, investment, data sciences on integrated partnerships and initiatives
- Participate & lead team brainstorms to bring forth creative activation ideas & initiatives to support client campaigns
- Monitor and identify relevant sports trends and marketplace updates and provide thought-leadership
- Provide measurement and recapping for Wavemaker clients’ sports efforts, inclusive of insights and optimizations
The Candidate
- 2-4 years of client service and account management experience in a sports partnership role
- Prior experience working with sports and entertainment properties including agencies, leagues/teams, athletes, etc.
- Prior experience developing and executing sports and/or entertainment hospitality programs for brands
- Well-versed and passionate about sports partnerships with a deep understanding of the landscape and key trends
- Ability to remain up to date with emerging trends, new technology, and innovative/strategic partnership opportunities in the marketplace
- Strong creative curiosity and effective problem-solving skills to manage complex partnerships & hospitality initiatives

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
