The Chief Technology Office (CTO) oversees enabling technology capabilities inclusive of engineering and architecture tools and practices, public cloud technology services, application program interfaces, as well as the firm’s technology workforce strategy. Global Technology Applied Research (GTAR) is an essential component of CTO and focuses on future-proofing the firm with 1st to market, cutting-edge Quantum, and Immersive Technology (e.g., Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Internet of Things and Computer Vision) experimentation, research, and the secure integration of viable products across the firm.
As the Applied Research Technical Program Manager, you will define and execute on communications, advertising strategies to build pipelines of use cases to apply Quantum algorithms, and immersive research across the firm, while influencing executive stakeholders to adopt our products, and prepare business cases and tailored narratives for strategic investment.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee multiple technical programs and projects from inception to completion. Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Evaluate and recommend technologies and solutions that align with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations. Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives, key results (OKRs) and report on program outcomes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Strong technical background with the ability to understand, evaluate and translate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
Highly organized, self-starter with excellent time management skills, who can work with high degree of independence and resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
Superb leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers.
Superior command of PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred qualification, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, preferred.
6+ years of managing projects in financial services industry or military leadership experience, preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification, preferred.
