Coordinates the activities of Respiratory Care Practitioners; develops and communicates policies and procedures, performs clinical duties, to ensure optimal quality and continuity of service. As a member of the leadership team, acts as consultant to the clinical team, and medical staff on respiratory clinical and safety practices. Provide education resources to the Respiratory department as well as members of the clinical team and medical staff. Qualifications/Requirements
Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; B.S. Respiratory Care
Working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
Experience: 3-5 years
Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner license, Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
Knowledge of ventilators, CPAP/BiPap, oxygen delivery systems and HFNC.
